Volunteering at the London 2012 Games will be a truly memorable, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

All Sports Massage Association full members practitioners are eligible to treat clients of the private health insurer Pruhealth. This means that some Pruhealth policy holders may have treatments covered under the terms of their contract. Treatments may also be covered by other health insurers. Clients should check with their provider.

VTCT LEVEL 3 AND 4 COURSES – TUTOR REGISTRATION

It is agreed VTCT and SMA policy that course tutors teaching endorsed Level 3 and 4 courses are to be registered with the SMA. The application form for registration, that includes additional information and a summary of the SMA benefits for tutors, is now available.

The Olympic and Paralympic Games is the largest sporting event in the world and will generate enormous excitement and enthusiasm, which many people want to be part of and if they are not actually competing, volunteering is the best way to do this, either as a general volunteer or for a specialist role.

SMA LEVEL 5 MEMBERSHIP

We are delighted to announce the SMA's unique endorsement of the new VTCT Level 5 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy (QCF), that Skills for Health have accepted the qualification and also that Level 5 membership will shortly be available with the Sports Massage Association (SMA).
