Special Interest Groups
Sports Massage is a highly skilled profession directly related to sport, however there are also special areas of interest within the profession.
Special Interest Groups can be developed, by members, to provide support and development opportunities within smaller areas e.g. professional teams, private practice, massage education.
Professional Team Practitioners (PTP)
The PTP is a Special Interest Group being set up in response to members requests. It is being developed for those members, level 3 and above, working with team sports. The aim and intention of the PTP is to provide a group for those working in similar environments, allowing them to communicate and give each other support. It will provide professional development opportunities, specific to their working environment.
